ANNIVERSARY

candy pen for painting Chupa Chups.

see life in a fun way, full of laughter and good

THE CALL OF THE WILD

We introduce you to the sponge Stylocordia Borealis, also
known as Chupa Chups.
We promise this is not a joke. A scientific expedition to
Antarctica discovered a new species of sponge and they
decided to nickname it with the first thing that came to mind. You
can imagine what it was.

TO INFINITY AND BEYOND.

We can say it with great pride: Chupa Chups® is the first, and only, candy
brand to reach space and go around the Earth.
The Russian astronauts from the MIR station missed their
home and their relatives but we couldn't take them with them. However, they also greatly
missed something tasty, healthy and easy to eat. It was clear right? Lots of
Chupa Chups® to outer space.

XXXXXL

Huge, colossal or impressive were the words heard when we made the first Mega Chups® It was made by hand and was a gift for former FC Barcelona footballer Hristo Stoichkov. 735 grams of pure caramel that took more than 8 hours to cool. And that's not all, it was so successful that we decided to start producing it as a new product. But plastic huh!

NEXT STEP:
TAKE OVER THE WORLD

We were growing non-stop and in 1990 we were present in 164 countries. With great power comes great responsibility, or so they say, and we wanted to live up to it with hard work so as not to let anyone down. We hope we have achieved it.

FROM KING TO KING

Michael Jackson gave a concert in Barcelona and the king of pop could only be sponsored by the king of candies. It was incredible, the screams of the singer's fans were heard throughout the city and we fell silent before such a spectacle. Great night, great Jackson. We will always remember.

NO SUGAR PLEASE.

And suddenly, sugar-free Chupa Chups®. Now we are a candy for all tastes. However, we were unable to sell them in Spain at that time because the law did not allow the sale of sugar-free candies. Are you freaking out? We did too.

WE HAVE COME TO PLAY

Windball® is born, the first Chupa Chups® toy, so you can enjoy its flavor while having fun. In 1986 we started playing and we haven't stopped since. But let's not anticipate events, everything in good time.

SURREALISM

We were growing, a lot, and we saw the need for a logo change. Who do we call? To Salvador Dalí, Salvi for friends. Unsurprisingly, the quirky surrealist artist deviated from the conventional and designed the daisy logo on a paper napkin. Yes, yes, as you read. And in no time at all, he created one of the most emblematic logos of all time. If for something we consider him a genius.

SUCK SUCK SUCK A CHUPS®

The strength of a good jingle is undeniable and thanks to him, we changed our name again. From now on we will be Chupa Chups®. Everyone sang it, everyone liked it, and Enric Bernat decided to listen to his audience and rename his lollipop once again. Relax, there are no more changes.

IN SEARCH
OF THE LOST NAME

The invention was a hoot but Gol®, as a name, was seen and not seen giving way to CHUPS®. You had to find a name that was cooler and who better to accept this challenge than an advertising agency? They went around many times, many times, but in the end they found it. And you accepted it quickly.WE HAVE IT!

GOAL NO, GREAT GOAL

We are not talking about any match, not even a sport, but about the first lollipop in history, ours. It was called Gol® and its flavors were: strawberry, lemon, orange, cola and mint. The revolutionary idea came from Enric Bernat, founder of Chupa Chups, when he imagined what it would be like to eat candy with a fork. Amazing, right? And he named it that way because he said that the candy looked like a soccer ball going into the goal, that is, into the child's mouth. How much imagination!
